Paul’s teaching and acting background is matched by his gentle humour and high-integrity approach.  This helps participants learn in a comfortable and intuitive way that achieves lasting results.

Paul has recently returned to Maura Fay Workshops, having also worked with us in the 1990s delivering Winning Presentations programs.

An experienced actor, teacher, coach and training facilitator, Paul’s breadth of knowledge arms him with a range of techniques to help participants learn in a comfortable and intuitive way.  Known for his gentle humour and high-integrity approach, he is a popular trainer with a track record of achieving lasting results.

Paul is a graduate of the National Institute of Dramatic Arts (NIDA), and has also completed a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics at Sydney University as well as a Certificate in Conflict Resolution.  He has taught improvisation at some of Australia’s most prestigious acting schools including NIDA, The Actors Centre and ATYP as well as continuing to work as a vocal and dialect coach for both television and feature films.

Paul’s acting credits are extensive, with appearances in many well known Australian films and television programs including All Saints, Water Rats, Black Jack, The Lost World, Big Sky and an ongoing role in the science fiction series Farscape.  His film appearances include The Matrix, Babe and Jane Campion’s Holy Smoke. Paul is also one of Australia's most experienced theatre actors having performed in over 30 productions for the Sydney Theatre Company and other major Australian Theatre Companies.

Born in England, Paul is now based in Sydney where, in his little spare time, he indulges his passion for music composition.  He is currently working on a musical children's book and dreams  of one day building a music studio in the heart of the bush - a musical hermitage.
