Specialising in Performance Management, Presentation Skills, Influencing and Storytelling, Margaret uses proven methodologies and a vivacious sense of humour to facilitate learning in a fun and creative way.

Margaret joined Maura Fay Workshops in 2000 and has worked across a wide range of MFW’s programs.  She specialises in Performance Management, Presentation Skills, Influencing and Storytelling.

A perceptive, high-energy trainer, Margaret uses proven methodologies underpinned by a vivacious sense of humour to help participants learn through creativity.  This has made her one of our most sought-after trainers and has seen her working throughout Australia, China, Japan, Singapore and India in recent times.   She has two Bachelors degrees (Literature and Drama) and is currently undertaking a third in writing and editing at RMIT University.  She is DISC-accredited and also has CELTA accreditation for teaching English as a second language.

Margaret’s client experience covers both public and private sector organisations across many different sectors and industries.  They include ExxonMobil, General Electric, the Australian Department of Defence, BP, KPMG, IBM, ANZ Bank, Penguin Publishers, Canon, Accenture and Suncorp Metway.

Like many of our consultants, Margaret is also a professional actor.  She teaches at the National Theatre and her own performing career includes many film and television credits, including appearances in Blue Heelers, A Country Practice and MDA.  She has written and performed in several of her own works and has appeared in award-winning theatre productions across the country.  She lives in Melbourne with her partner Leon, who also uses humour in his profession as one of the world renowned ‘clown doctors’ working with sick children in hospitals around the region.
