| Maggie Miles Consultant & Trainer Maura Fay Workshops Maggie’s intuitive insight and approachable style is underpinned by extensive training and experience, making her a popular and highly successful trainer. Maggie has worked with Maura Fay Workshops since 2004, bringing with her over ten years of learning and development experience plus a finely honed talent as an actor, director, writer, presenter and producer. Specialising in presentation and communication skills training, Maggie’s combination of intuitive insight and extensive practical experience allows her to connect with participants quickly. This means that participants are more fully engaged with the learning process, thereby gaining the greatest possible benefit in the shortest possible time. Maggie’s clients have included the Northern Territory Government as well as some of Australia’s most recognisable corporations: Telstra, ANZ, BHP Billiton, IBM, National Australia Bank and Australia Post. Alongside her success as a corporate trainer, Maggie has enjoyed a rich creative career, including acting credits on the BBC’s Nightmares of Nature, a new Australian feature film, an SBS telemovie, an AFI-funded short film plus a number of independent films and commercials. She is an award-winning producer, with both an Australian Tourism Award and a Northern Territory Brolga Award amongst her production company’s credits. Born in England, Maggie lived in Darwin for 12 years before moving to Melbourne. Her hectic training schedule is matched only by her very busy life outside work. She is currently undertaking postgraduate studies in producing at the Victorian College of the Arts Film and Television school, as well as producing and developing several major drama projects.
