Loretta’s commercial experience means she quickly understands clients’ business needs and can position training messages within the context of business objectives.    

Loretta is one of our most multifaceted Maura Fay trainers, with experience in training, acting, advertising, education and events marketing.

Loretta’s passion for training was discovered when she was involved in the development of a drama-based learning program pilot at John Fairfax Holdings Ltd, Australia’s largest newspaper publishing group. She never looked back, and since joining MFW she has worked with a broad and varied range of client organisations including Optus, GlaxoSmithKline, IBM, the Australian Federal Police and Woolworths.

An enthusiastic and intuitive trainer, Loretta recognizes the importance of making learning enjoyable and comfortable for participants. Her commercial background means she can quickly understand clients’ businesses and issues. This enables her to deliver training messages that position the learning within the context of broader business objectives.

Alongside her corporate experience, Loretta has a keen understanding of the government sector. She has worked for high profile diplomats and dignitaries at the Australian Consulate and the Australian Mission to the United Nations in New York, as well as having consulted to a number of Australian government departments with MFW.

Loretta also continues to work as a professional actor/director and was awarded Best Director, 2005 for her production of The Forsyte Saga at Sydney’s Genesian Theatre. Her acting credits include a variety of stage roles, including lead characters is Oscar Wilde’s The Importance of Being Earnest and Shakespeare’s King Lear.
