Alex joined Maura Fay Workshops in 2000 and quickly became a popular trainer with an impressive list of delighted clients.

A versatile facilitator, Alex specialises in presentation skills and negotiation skills. His ability to create challenging and realistic role play scenarios gives participants a unique opportunity to rehearse skills immediately, which in turn helps them to internalise the learning and make it real.
Alex has worked with some of Australia’s leading corporates, including ANZ Bank, Australia Post, National Australia Bank, Unilever, Mazda and Bayer. He has also worked in the public sector, most recently with Victoria’s Department of Premier and Cabinet.

A graduate of the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts, Alex’s training credits are easily matched by his acting credits. He has over two decades of experience, which has earned him a long list of Australian television credits as well as a feature film appearance in the movie Head On. He has worked as a stage actor and director in the UK, and has most recently joined ABC television’s renowned Play School program in Australia.

Alex is a born, bred and ongoing Melburnian who concurs wholeheartedly with those who’ve voted Melbourne the world’s most liveable city. And while he plans to head to the Galapagos Islands on holiday once his schedule allows for a longer break, these days his spare time is spent indulging his musical and culinary interests: cooking, singing, playing piano and guitar
