Trainers
Trainers are sourced from both teaching and training worlds and offer specialist skills across a broad range of disciplines including adult education, psychology, performance, financial management, sociology and information technology.
Trainers and actors are allocated to each workshop based on their experience with:
• program
content and skill areas to be trained
• client industry (e.g. finance, law, consulting, manufacturing, pharmaceuticals)
• training
models and frameworks employed or relevant to content
Where necessary, other professionals or industry experts are also engaged. In Media Skills, for example, training may be conducted by a trainer/actor and professional journalist. The actor works on delivery style and on-screen presentation while the journalist addresses issues of content and response styles. Subject matter experts (internal or consulting) can also provide content-based feedback in a range of scenario-specific applications such as in negotiation or sales and influencing skills.
The
MFW team of trainers are accredited and experienced in a number of models
including:
• Myers Briggs Type Indicator (Step I)® - MBTI®
• Myers
Briggs Type Indicator (Step II)® - MBTI (EIR)®
• DiSC
Personal Profile System® - DiSC
• Neuro
Linguistic Programming - NLP
• Herrmann
Brain Dominance Instrument - HBDI
• Leadership
Practices Index - LPI
These
models provide learning structures that offer practical frameworks for
recognising, qualifying and understanding individual and group preferences. MFW actors bring the models to life by providing demonstrations of how preferences translate into observable behaviour. In role-plays, actors use models to simulate personalities that challenge participants, providing relevant training that extends individual comfort zones.
