Maximising Performance Appraisals

Good performance appraisals can be a medium for inspiring staff and reducing staff turnover.

Performance appraisals have been likened to ‘having teeth pulled’ by employers and employees alike. This program is designed to assist managers in delivering effective appraisals to their staff in a way that can reduce fear and increase personal ownership.

The Maximising Performance Appraisals program introduces techniques and strategies to assess performance effectiveness, set goals for improvements and communicate these issues with the desired impact. Participants ‘rehearse’ real performance appraisal conversations with a professional actor and are coached on their approach and effectiveness.
