Leadership

Middle Management

The role of a middle manager has become more complex as specialised or outsourced tasks have been redistributed to the ‘line level’.

For many in middle management who have been promoted as a result of their dedication and technical capability, the extended role of maximising profitability through the improved performance of others can be very challenging.

This program is designed for participants in line management or project management roles, and deals with key concepts in leadership development. It is expected that participants on this program will have had some experience in management and will understand key concepts of people development.

From this assumed base, the program aims to assist individuals to extend their personal impact and capability to influence others toward a goal or key strategic direction. This program also looks at change management as a fundamental step in aligning stakeholders and larger groups of people to a new direction or concept.

MFW recommends Leadership – Middle Management as a minimum two day program.
