Influencing Skills

Whether dealing with individuals in teams, management or customers, the ability to understand others and apply this understanding is critical to success in the workplace.

This program provides techniques and skills practice for influencing and motivating others in a range of workplace situations.

Training emphasises how to apply flexibility and clarity in communication to create and maintain rapport with a range of different types and how to tailor communication to maximise personal influence. The program uses the MBTI® or DiSC® Personal Profile System® as a starting point and framework for understanding behaviour in order to influence others. The models create self-awareness in each participant, and awareness of what motivates others to act.

Interactive role-plays are developed to simulate workplace situations throughout the program. A professional actor challenges participants to apply techniques in a realistic and safe environment.

MFW recommends Influencing Skills as a two-day program.
