Maura Fay held a dynamic and expansive career in Casting throughout Australia and around the globe. Prior to founding the company in 1987, Maura held key positions within the entertainment industry which included Head of Casting for the Grundy Organisation, Head of Production for PBL Productions and consultant for the Drama Departments at the ABC, Seven, Nine and Ten Networks. Maura also served as board member for Sydney Film Festival and Australian Theatre for Young People.

After making her impression upon the Australian television industry, Maura started her own company Maura Fay Casting, to serve both the local and international markets in Film, Television, Theatre, and TVCs. Maura was a star maker who had a passion for Australia's film and television industry. She discovered many actors who became household names across Australia and indeed on the screens of the world. She shared a vision for the industry to all that would listen, convincing them that talent will always win out so long as it was nurtured, encouraged and given expression to flourish. Maura was a person of magnificent heart and generous spirit, who helped make dreams come true.

In 1990, business savvy Maura set up Maura Fay Workshops and then later Maura Fay Creative Events. It was apparent to Maura that the core delivery skills possessed by a Professional Actor could be transferred into the corporate arena. Maura's credo for learning was based on an ancient Chinese proverb - " What I hear I forget, What I see I remember, but what I do I understand." Combining the talents of a corporate trainer with a professional actor leads to a dynamic team.

Maura created Winning Presentations a two-day Presentation Skills program, which remains the company's signature product. Maura Fay Workshops delivers the full suite of corporate communication skills programs, available as a group workshop or one-on-one coaching basis.

Melissa Williams continues her role as General Manager of Maura Fay Workshops worldwide.

Her sister Ann Fay continues in her role as Senior Casting Director and now manages the Maura Fay Casting company worldwide.
