JONES LANG LASALLE - Launch Party

Jones Lang LaSalle, with Jones Lang LaSalle hotels celebrated the formation of the world's largest real estate services firm at an exclusive launch party for 350 clients and industry leaders, at the Museum of Contemporary Art in the Rocks, Sydney.

The guest of honour was Mr Chris Peacock, International Deputy CEO, based in London.

The merger between LaSalle Partners (a Chicago based publicity trading company) and Jones Lang Wootton occurred in 1999 and will operate across 96 key markets in 34 countries on five continents. The company provides comprehensive expertise on a local, regional and global level to owners, occupiers and investors.

It operates through six business segments: Hotel Services, Investment Management and four geographic regions of owners and Occupier Services.

The company's investment management business, is one of the largest and diverse real estate management firms with US$20.5 billion of assets under management. The company's pro forma revenues for 1998 were approximately US$848 million. Jones Lang LsSalle is the industry leader in real estate management services. Their portfolio includes more than 63 million square metres of property world wide.

Mr Ken Winterschladen, CEO of Jones Lang LaSalle Australasia reported that the cocktail party was an enormous success and truly set the scene for the new firm.
